Fly London to Bangkok
London Heathrow. Almost all direct and indirect flights to Bangkok originate at London Heathrow. The exception is Phuket Airlines which flies from Gatwick.
Duration
Flight duration is 11.5 hours which together with a six hour time difference means arrival time is 17.5 hours after departure by local (i.e. Thailand) time on the outward leg of the journey. This is reversed on the home leg- so you touch down six hours after takeoff by local London time.
Timetables
Timetables are similar. Flights depart European destinations in the evening and arrive in Bangkok in the early afternoon of the following day; or depart at midday or early afternoon and arrive early the following morning. This allows plenty of scope for arranging connecting flights from other parts of the UK.

British Airways
